You need a project management tool. At least I do :) I use Wrike http://www.wrike.com/ for it. The idea is simple you don't have time to log on - you can create an email with the task title and it will becoma you next task. I'm using the free version now, but I'm thinking of a soon upgrade. It's just $5 but the tool brings you much more: organization, planning and collaboration.

that ask sandy thing seems pretty cool. Im going to have to give it a try. I love all the great to-do websites out there. I just hate the time it takes to get them setup. Seems like this will help.

First I would like to thank Collis and all the team for this wonderful idea that I hope it will never end. :)

I am a freelancer too and this website helps me a lot to know what other freelancers do and what their work looks like.

Also the PSD Tust is amazing and the new idea of writing tutorials and get paid for them. I also wrote a tut but I suppose it was not accepted. :D

Great post.

Great stuff, Matt - thanks!

I've also found that it's valuable to develop relationships -- even if just on a casual, email basis -- with some of your favorite bloggers/site owners. It's a great way to give and get expertise, and often it can be a direct line to critical solutions when a thorny situation arises.

Matt great post, outsourcing is a hot topic right now as more and more people find innovative ways to outsource their tasks and free up time for themselves. I am a big fan of Sandy, she is an invaluable resource for me that makes sure I get the info I need at the appropriate time!

I think anyone seriously thinking about outsourcing should have a read of Tim Ferris 'The 4 Hour Workweek'.

Another site i have recently found is DoMyStuff.com where you post tasks and basically get your own assistant to complete that task, there are both free and paid subscriptions. I haven't used the service but thought it was worth a mention.
