Freelance Radio Returns

After a hiatus, Freelance Radio is pleased to be back on the air and returns with a new name, The Freelance Radio Show (okay, we’re creatives, but we’re not that creative!) With a lively panel and topics that any freelancer can relate to, the show continues to draw an audience of engaged freelancers.

The Freelance Radio Show started as an Envato production and is pleased to tell loyal FreelanceSwitch.com readers about the podcast’s return.

About The Freelance Radio Podcast

The goal of the podcast is to provide timely advice on subjects applicable to freelancers. This includes subjects such as marketing your business, getting clients, managing your time, keeping track of finances, improving your craft, and dealing with difficult client situations. The podcast is available on iTunes and episodes are also posted at www.freelanceradio.com.

The Freelance Radio Format

The free podcast offers tips and insights for freelancers and caters to moonlighters and full-time freelancers alike. Some new features include interviews with guests and show sponsors. Each show has a unique topic where panelists chime in with their experiences and opinions. Questions from listeners can be submitted and are then answered on the air, and the recommendation section offers a suggestion from each panelist on tech tools and other must-haves. The panel is made up of Dickie Adams, Von Glitschka and Kristen Fischer, who formerly contributed to the show.

Have a Question?

Do you have a question about freelancing? Submit it to mailbag@freelanceradio.com so it can be answered on the air. We look forward to continuing the show and hearing from all of our loyal listeners.

  1. PG Jay

Cool! Glad to see it return.

  2. PG Susan Johnston

I was bummed to hear you’d discontinued the podcast, so thanks for bringing it back!

  3. PG John Jordan

Wonderful news! This was the best freelance podcast when it ran and I looked forward to each episode. I am extremely pleased it’s back. You guys rock!

  4. PG Christopher

I can’t tell you how happy this makes me. I’ve been all out of sorts since the last podcast stopped.

  5. PG Julian

Glad to see you’ve returned! Don’t leave us again, we need a high quality podcast like the one you provide.

    1. PG Rick

Right Julian. I tried other freelance pod-casts after this one went off the air but none were as good or entertaining as this one!

  6. PG Rick Messer

    Thank goodness!

I loved this show! I’m so glad it’s back!

  7. PG Andy @ FirstFound

Sounds good. I’ll download a show or two!

  8. PG Leo

Hurray! I didn’t listen to it the first time around but I’ve been listening to the archives. Glad to hear y’all are back!

  9. PG Kristen Fischer

Thanks for the warm welcome–we are so pleased to be back on the air!!

  10. PG MikeMcD

Sorry to say, but I’m a bit disappointed with the “new” show. Aside from John being gone (which was a good move, John was a pretty uninteresting host), it’s basically the same show, just rebranded.

I’ll probably make myself a bit unpopular for this, but I have to say it. I think the show should have come back with Kristen, Von, and one or two completely new people (sorry Dickie).

  11. PG Philip Meissner

Great to hear the gang is back! I was trying to convince Dan Benjamin to start a freelance related podcast to fill the void by your departure, but now that’s not necessary.

  12. PG Micah Hansen

So stoked my favorite podcast is back! For reals, I missed you guys.

  13. PG Kristen Fischer

It’s supposed to be the same show, for the most part. This time, though, we’re not going anywhere:)

  14. PG Craig Webb

Awesome news. Looking forward to hearing what you guys have been up to.

  15. PG Daniel

Really happy to hear that team! I really missed you guys. Keep up the good work.

  16. PG Anonymous Until Asked

Please take this as constructive criticism. I really had a tough time listening after the Von came on. Haven’t kept up since. Tried many times though.

  17. PG Lori

Awesome news! Freelance Radio was my favorite podcast. Can’t believe I didn’t know you guys were back until now. Off to catch up on the episodes I’ve missed…

  18. PG John W

So glad you’re back with a new co-host too! Looking forward to following again.

    Thanks for coming back… =)
