Wow, this is the first podcast I listen to, and it's like you're inside my head and know my life.
Procrastination, clients, loneliness, pride, joy.....it's like that. Thankyou for a great site, and podcast. I will definitely become a regular listener.
Cheers,

Vector Magic - bad news, it's not free anymore. You can buy tokens for $3.50 each. One token= one downloaded image. When signing up you get 2 free tokens. Sign up before March 5th to get 2 additional free tokens (for a total of 4 free tokens). Well, it was too good to be true. I've been using this tool for couple of months and was very happy with it. Desktop version is supposed to be available soon, but I think I'll stick to Illustartor.

Vector Magic got a makeover as well - they have a new look...yikes. You be the judge.

The code for the band's address on myspace is malformated, probably lacks the "http://" before the "www", so it tries to go to an address inside freelanceswitch.com. The real address is http://www.myspace.com/breech.

Really nice and fun podcasts, anyway"

I just love you guys!

Even though I've freelanced since I was in college, I finally gathered the courage to be on my own 5 months ago. However I constantly get these crazy looks as if not having a "job" was a sin. Thanks to you I feel as though I'm not alone in the world. I really really enjoy listening to the tips that you can't really get anywhere else about marketing, legal matters and finance.

For all of you who don't know whether to take the plunge or not... Just take the plunge, there will never be a "perfect" time, once you're out there the fear of having to back to an office and having to give up this wonderful life will make you work twice as hard! =P

Love you!!!!

I'd still recommend for the "creation" side of vector graphics, if they're from scratch, Illustrator and InDesign are still irreplaceable.

Hi there,
I just stumbled upon this website - WHAT A GREAT FIND!

After leaving the work force 4 years ago while one of our web projects was growing I figured I could manage freelancing fulltime. We got really lucky and landed a local radio company that broadcasted 3 different stations and so we traded web work for advertising space. This helped expand our web design company. But after several clients that wanted something really hot but had no budget for it I decided to focus on personal projects that was bringing in the majority of the income. Recently, my energy has been spent on finding new clients and really developing our web design company further. I know we have the skills and the talent but it has been a long road to get back the the grass roots of what we love to do best!

This website, podcast in particular has give me a much needed boost, and confidence! I thank you for this website and shall return!
