OMG! The new episode of Freelance Switch on iTunes has arrived! I love these podcasts!
Hey everyone! For those who subscribe via iTunes, the RSS feed will be updated a bit later. Sorry about the delay–your new episode is coming your way soon (ish)!
Whew! I thought it was me! I went to iTunes, iGoogle, mp3 downloader… I love Freelance Radio. Thanks guys (and lady Kristen). I have been waiting for this one.
Kiera
It is interesting how Dickie talked about the 50% off on your first order that attracted him to get the prints done, yet as designers we discourage that kind of offer for our services.
Great episode; very useful information!
Thanks for the plugging us!

Thanks for plugging us! We gave you plug over on our blog — http://www.copycraft.com/ccpblog
Sean: I don’t discourage discounts for designers, but one needs to make sure they are giving the discount for the right reasons. Of course, Color Inc is using this as a marketing opportunity.
when will it be available on itunes? =(
Hey guys… enjoyed it. One thing I would like to point out. OpusMailer looks a whole lot like CampaignMonitor’s white label software. Check it out here: http://www.campaignmonitor.com/designers/
I would really like to see more frequency ni these episodes. I find myself visiting the site weekly and disappointed that there is no new podcasts.
I guess there are worse problems in the world than loyal listeners wanting more.
Nick: We’re working on nailing down a more regular schedule. Thanks for listening!
Dickie = Awesome Jedi Kung-fu 70′s David Hasselhoff Rockstar.
That’s a compliment.
I feel the same way! I’d really like these to be more regular. I’m sad to see there was only one podcast in April.
I’d even be cool with more ads if it meant more podcasts! The advice and tips are great. Listening to your podcast makes me feel connected to a larger freelance community, as well, which I love. Freelancing can be a rather isolating thing.
Hi,
this was a great episode, what I wanted to add is something regarding to clients who say no to 1-st drafts, sometimes this are the guys that push us …the guys that make us think we are not good enough and we can do better (some intentional some not) ..but for me this kind of clients most of the times make me better my self. If you have just yes clients you feel like everything is ok and that is not a good feeling for me it’s like the challenge is missing from the equation.
Anyway, great show.
Regards, Mester Catalin
