WorkAwesome.com: For Those Who Want to Be Awesome at Work

In the last few weeks we’ve been working on a brand new Envato site called WorkAwesome, and we’re proud to say it has finally been launched.

WorkAwesome is a blog for people who want to be awesome at work. It’s also a blog for people who want to find work, or simply quit work. We’re going to be publishing all the office life advice you need, whether you need to know how to make a kick-ass PowerPoint presentation or survive the office Christmas party (hint: stay away from the CEO’s flirtatious wife). We’ll also be exploring productivity, and some of our posts will focus on management and leadership advice, too.

We’ve already published two posts:

• How to Prepare for a Layoff by Cubicle Curtis
• How to Write an Effective To Do List by Lee Cash

I’ll be editing the site (I’ll be continuing to edit FreelanceSwitch, of course), and have gathered a great team of regular contributors. We’ll also be publishing an N.C. Winters comic strip each week — I love Freelance Freedom, but I have to say that so far the new strip is my favorite! N.C.’s strips rock more each time we ask him to do one!

Collis did a wonderful job designing the site as usual, with a design that’s a bit different to the rest of the Envato network, and it was turned into a functional front-end by Derek Herman of Valen Designs. Every time Collis creates a new design it’s a little bit trickier to implement, so it’s a testament to Derek’s work that WorkAwesome.com works so awesome.
