The Writer’s Center (DC Metro area) is currently offering a course in freelancing. Elaina Loveland (accomplished freelancer and editor) is teaching “Freelancing for Magazines” which will teach participants how to research paying magazine markets, how to write query letters that work and get an assignment, and how to finish the article for publication in magazines. This class has two sessions, August 12 and August 18 from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. More information is available at www.writer.org.
