FreelanceSwitch in a Bikini

You know a site’s made it when a woman in a bikini says it’s the bomb!Since we launched FSw, we’ve had some great successes and the site has been mentioned on some big name sites like Digg, Reddit, Lifehacker and plenty of others. But all of these achievements have now officially been overshadowed.
You see today we found out that a site called BikiniZero has decided to feature FreelanceSwitch in one of its news items.
I’m not sure how many of you are, erm… familiar with BikiniZero, but it is a tech news program based on the premise that everything is more interesting when read by an attractive woman wearing an outfit usually reserved for the beach. So here’s to Katea - our new favourite journalist!

I am the exec producer at BikiniZero, and just wanted to say that we really felt that freelanceswitch was an awesome product. Both myself and my art director have worked freelance for many years and that a service like this was really needed.
We are looking at redoing the BikiniZero site so any feedback how we could make the site or the show better would be really appreciated. Thanx

Hey, we liked your site, you put together the best list of freelancers we’ve found, and it’s such a valuable service… especially when we hear about how many people get ripped by sh**ty freelancers, great to know of sites where you can hire them, see their work/references, and pay using escrow so you don’t get burned.
Nice work on your list, it’s a valuable tool, keep it up.

Some quick ideas…
A text alternative article for the bandwidth-challenged, or PDA user would be cool. With a nice cameo shot “presenting” the article, of course.
Also a fluid design as well so that there isn’t a horizontal scroll bar.

Our hosts have had very little on-camera experience…but we are working hard to improve their delivery…
