A Warm Welcome…

Hello Freelancers!
On behalf of the team, I would like to welcome you all to the site. As many of you know this site only launched about two weeks ago and has grown very rapidly thanks to all your generous comments, votes, subscriptions and emails.
As you know our mission is to provide an essential resource and community for freelancers of all types in every location. To this end we have many things in store for you all. In the next few days we will be welcoming three new additions to the team: a programmer, a photographer and a writer, as well as launching a full resource directory and introducing podcasts to the site.
Over the coming months expect also to see interviews of freelancers in every profession, product reviews to help you find the best and brightest applications to streamline your workday and help to find more freelance work. In May we will also be starting the 2007 Global Freelance Survey to help compile data from around the world on rates and methods of work. And of course through it all we’ll be giving you all your daily freelance tips, news and opinion.
If you have feedback on the site, suggestions for what you’d like to see, or tips for articles and links you think would be worthwhile for other freelancers please do Contact Us.
Other than that, enjoy the site!

There was a need for a website to compile all this kind resources, so FreelancesSwitch’s succes is no surprise. Good luck!
p.s. Looking forward to the survey results.
You guys are doing a smashing job so far!
Thanks guys! Yes evidently there was a bit of a hole in the market… we are all too happy to fill it and we’re going to make sure we do a bloody good job – if you’ll excuse my language
This is going to be a fantastic site and a great resource for both me and my readers. I’ll be looking out for content and resources that can be of use to freelancing musicians and performing artists.
Just found this site and glad to see it’s brand new… you are part of my daily RSS now so hope to see some great info and resources. The site looks great so far!
Great job so far guys! Looking forward to seeing more.
There is no time/date stamp on these posts, that’s frustrating.
Regardless, if you’ve only been up 2 weeks then that is really impressive. The site looks great and you are obviously getting recognition as I got here from an article in Lifehacker about one of your articles.
Great job on the blog. It looks awesome, and reads even better. You definitely have a subscriber here!
In the next few days we will be welcoming three new additions to the team: a programmer, a photographer and a writer
Smart move adding a photographer to the mix. They often bring a perspective to things that go unnoticed by the business eye.
Thanks for the feedback guys!
@ByzantineX, yes the time/date stamp was Collis’ call as he wanted to make the articles ‘timeless’ in his words, but if people find it irritating I can order him to throw them back in … ?
Great site! I tried emailing you but it bounced back. I’d love to see an article on what all you freelancers are doing for health insurance for you and you families!
Keep up the great work!
Lance
I’m so glad you made this site. I love the looks and the great information. Keep it up!
What a great website. Thanks for publishing all of these articles and useful links
I love the design – it’s very refreshing.
Looking forward to the forum.
Mmmmm…more yummy freelancy goodness. And even more cool things to occupy myself with when I’m trying very hard not to be working.
(Cat vacuumers of the world, unite! Yanno, when you get around to it.)
Erg. Got my own url wrong. I hate it when that happens. Corrected in this comment. Not so much in the others.
Yeah I have enjoyed daily visiting this website as well.
Keep up the great work.
My only grip would be that the email notification of comments do not work
Love the articles and the sense of humour! Write more!
Good Job Folks!! I really needed such a resource as in I am Switching to freelance and I DO need some advice!!
