If you want to get publicity & all those links, be controversial. Yeah, stir up disagreement. And those mega bloggers like Jason Calcanis & Dave Winer think that they know how to be controversial & create a storm ? My local paper could outshine them - they had an article which was meant to be a spoof, but because the guy wasn't a good writer, this didn't come thro' & it said like as cats kill birds & mice people should throw bricks & stones at cats. They had more letters & phone calls than in the entire paper's existence & demos outside. Just say something really stupid as well as having emotional impact & you'll get all the attention you could want.

Being true to one's voice is important; those are the writers I like. Even when I disagree with an author, I admire his/her chutzpa for boldly stating an opinion. People with nothing to say bore me. That's why so many politicians/actors/etc perturb me; they won't admit how they truly feel because they want mass approval. We all have opinions, yet we express them at different volumes.

I am frequently reproached for showing too much emotion and being too blunt. A recent comment I received on my site was, "Wow, somebody needs a shag." Apparently, this person didn't like my film review. ;-)

Very interesting, thanks.

But how to manage so many realationship? Is not going to grow complexity instead of simplicity?

What about a post with a list of most useful social networking sites?

Hi Saleem,

Good Article. It is a fact that humane beings are made of emotions. So far the most widely mean of communication is email, where you don't actually see the person on the other part of the world, eg: you client. But thanks to technology that now we have option to actually talk to other people we interact on Internet and do video chat with them., and this help to lessing the unemotionally of Internet.

I read in a previous post here, how turn you clients into you friends by either inviting them to your place or visiting there, this method has its limitation, but certainly it is good idea to expose your emotions and let other person do his or her.
