N.C. Winters is always drawing. When he isn't making comics, doodling or working as a freelance graphic artist, he spends his time painting pretty pictures for galleries from his home studio in sunny southern California.
Happened to me a few weeks ago. I love my business cards but always forget to bring them along with me when meeting a new client (because I don’t want to damage them in my wallet).
Mine get damaged in my wallet over time as well, but I ordered like 1000 of them, so I can swap them out from time to time to keep them fresh. It’s worth it to always have a few on hand.
I’ve learned that lesson several years ago. Now I have business cards everywhere. In my laptop bag, purse and clutch, because you never know when you’ll need them.

Ahah, typical! Happens to me all the time… whenever I’m done giving them away, I forget to fill up my wallet. And then the embarrassment: “Oh huh I’m so sorry it seems I forgot them home” *shame*
Love it! Luckily I now keep business cards in my wallet, laptop bag, desk and in the car. I always leave at least five business cards when I wrap up a project with a client in the hopes that they will hand them to their friends/contacts.
Why don’t you guys get proper business card holders? They’re metallic, well built, and protect them. Very slim, easy to store in a jacket pocket or your jeans. No scratches…

Gosh, its always happening to me.
I can’t believe this. This happened to me just over the weekend! My cards came in just last week, and I still forgot them. Classic.
Who asks for a business card these days? Not many business prospects in a retirement home
Spot on as usual! Or you give them all out, and then when you have a potential client you *REALLY* want to give one to, and you’re all out.

Keeps on happening to me… I think I’ll have to get a bigger wallet so that I can stuff about a hundred in
This is common to most freelancers I guess. It happened to me once when I started out as a freelancer just keeping a few cards on my wallet.
LOL. surprise to see that so many people actually always forgot namecards.
I forget mine in a different way. I stick them in one purse, but then forget to move them over when I switch purses. Bah!
