Thats awesome.
Right this is one thing that i enjoy about freelancing: the freedom to work (almost) where you want!
Infortunaly, I have to stay inside the office and do all my work indoors.
I can only dream about getting my laptop, head to the sea side, and work with the sea breeze in my face…
For now, a Pacific island wallpaper will have to do the trick.
Man, that would be nice!
Great strip. Really funny, wish that was me, out there somewhere on a desert island on my computer haha.
I know of a scientist at a previous place I worked at who did exactly as the cartoon depicts. He was doing a project on a small island in the Pacific and needed to catch-up on his emails. Insane jealously barely begins to describe the feelings of the rest of us back in the office.
Love this one. The only problem is every time I am in a scenario like this, little to no work gets done. =)
I can imagine me being in a park similar to the quality of the sea view.
If Toronto beaches had wireless, I’d sooooo be there!
Now I wish the beaches around me could be that deserted and could still get access…
yeah.. wish they had wireless in beaches near my place
But it’s quite fun working at a coffee shop
Id rather do my work on a large spacious deck overlooking the mountains in Colorado……oh yeah I live here!!
I am visiting my sister in San Diego tomorrow….(I’m from the East Coast) and SO excited to be able to work in the airport, and at her apartment at night, etc. God bless the freelancer’s freedom!
The perfect freelance workplace!
Definitely my dream! Of course it would have to be on a shaded deck overlooking the beach so that the sun doesn’t bleach out my screen.
lol, well, its great to heave the dream and another to live the reality — and then forget to get yourself a decent laptop screen that works outdoors as well…
I had romantic notions of working outdoors until I bought my Dell laptop with a really dull screen. All I do is find myself longing for the bigger monitor at home.
