Haha! Really funny!
Haha…I actually woke up extra early today because I have some “urgent” changes to an eVite my client needs to send out today. I thought this was hilarious because these are the type of changes my client is having me make. This made me feel a lot better, because it reminded me I’m not only one dealing with these type of clients. One of the changes she’s having me make is to center the text…urghhh!
Haha! This is the best one yet, this one I can definitely relate to!
Well done.
Love it! Where can I get myself one of those translators?
What is up with clients always wanting to center the text??? Christian – I feel your pain ..
Double URGHHHH!! well I am off to play around with colour, font and outline of the logo that my client really likes … so.. what you are saying is .. you want to see another logo … ;0?
Haha, this is really the best one so far
where can i find one of those client unit – to standard normal unit converters? i could really use one.
the logo should be “a wee bit smaller”? I’ve never heard that one before…I guess it takes the mind of a comic strip artist to think of that kind of far-fetch comment! Or perhaps it’s a typo and should be BIGGER!!! Always Bigger! http://www.makemylogobiggercream.com/
cheers.
“a wee bit smaller”
That’s one we hear most here in Scotland!
Very funny!
That is hilarious… oh man.. hahahah.. there should be a client translation book, period.
haha… i love it!
so so true..
awesome!!
Can we get the “client translator” made into a downloadable pdf? It would come in handy.
Where can I get a copy of that list?
So true …
I actually had a client once pull out a ruler to my laptop, and give me directions in mm’s.
I could hardly contain myself.
I think this must be an error. The client never asks for the logo to be SMALLER!
So true though. Love this one.
I’d like that translator!!!
Your comic is really great, I enjoy reading it..
That is priceless.
Fantastic, now where do i need to go to get one of those client translators lol
LOLOL I love this. Funny thing is…I just got let go from my job today and I DIDN’T care, I’ve had so much freelance work anyways. With more design companies offering me work, I was wanting to quit but didn’t want to leave them after being there only 2 months. Guess it was a blessing to go to full-time freelance. Time will tell ^_~ Wish me luck! My goal is 60+ hours a week. Crossing my fingers.
This one is definitely my favourite!
Great work!
I have deja vu!
I love this standarts
@Amber: good luck!
lol! I really need one of those client interpretation charts, in pixels instead of inches though!
Hilarious! The funniest scenarios are the ones with the most truth… but I’m with the folks that say no one ever wants their logo smaller.
@Dan Bowling, oh my word! I get grumpy when people put their fingers anywhere near my screen. But a ruler?
LoL !!
Small and nice.
haha…yeah i know all about that!
Very funny client conversion guide.
So true, we all feel that pain!
such a creative mind you got there.. you hit the spot on everyone..
but if your searching for a hassle free job, try searching the net for one..
i know a site that can help freelancers with their careers…
The clients always ask: “Make the text a half a point larger.” Which translates to at least two points!
Very funny!
hahhaahhaha, I love these comics! They are sooo true!!! EVERYONE thinks they are a designer…
Number 75 — what an achievement; congratulations! Another good one, as always.
Ooooh! I SO want one of those translators!!!
