    Cute – You know you’ve been coding too long when you read that comic strip and think of it as a cautionary tale about procrastination instead of the proper workplace / freelance joke. “My god, not only did he clean up the bathroom that he had made into a disaster but he renovated it to move the toilet to the other side”

    At my old workplace we had a mysterious figure who was constantly…ugh…plugging the toilets. It was like some kind of evil lottery where at any time you could innocently flush only to find yourself standing in a small toxic wading pool. The offices below us weren’t too thrilled with it either when it ran down the vents.

    I’m the only female where I currently work, so the bathroom stays clean. But I’ve worked places where I would rather have held it all day than used their restrooms. *shudder*

    Must be an IE7 thing. Tried it on three different computers with the same results. Firefox works fine.

    My bathroom is one of my favorite work places. I bring my laptop in the bathroom when I have to go, and just continue working. It’s very satisfying!!! And easier to concentrate, too–I wonder why that is?

    I must spend too much time in notepad. I first laughed thinking it was about being on the receiving end of poor messy code, and how clean it is when you only have to manage your own code.

    Ugh! I know that all too well! I”m one of 3 females at my 9-5….the guys use our bathroom as well as their own! Its horrible and they always leave the seat up or leave stuff on the seat..it’s nasty!

    Yo WC-Typist, er… I am assuming you go to the bathroom, do your thang, use your laptop keyboard/pad etc and walk out just washing your hands (cos you don’t wash your laptop obviously) and continue the rest of the day…?

    I find that a little unhygenic. Same goes with books and mags in the loo – I don’t get people who do that!
