yep, it’s like my day today….
How did you guys get in my inbox this morning?
Isn’t this always the case?
“We love it, but we don’t like it. So, please go against all standards and design conventions to make it pretty”.
Yeah, it happens to me a lot.
“That is nice..” pause moment.. And i know they are gonna said the “BUT” the client continue… “BUT….” i knew it, they will said “we need to change some elements of the logo”, “please do another version with different fonts and make minimal 5 placement variation for each the mockup”…
Hehehehe…*sweat drops all over my forehead”
AH AH : )
Always happening. It’s great, we are almost there, BUT…
Craig… you said it man!
So true it’s scary. Now how do we make sure clients see this…?
I hate when that happens. I mean you don’t tell your doctor how to do his job why tell me. And then you just make those changes and they tell you that it was fine the first time and they’ll pay for the extra work.
HEHEHE Oh yea, I have one or two of them at the moment.
These comics are so spot on! I love it. I’m sure this happens all the time to all of us.
HAHA I had a client just like that
This is sooooo true!
Nice to see other freelancers are experiencing the same thing.
COOL comic!!!
Wow, guess what!? Today I just finished with this kinda client. But I am afraid I am not done with him yet!
Great cartoon anyways.
I’m dealing with this now. I can’t wait for it to be over. Then I’m taking a week off.
FONTY! haha, that’s hilarious.
These comics really do make my day!
Great Comic, and so true.
I propose to the team of Freelance Switch, that we can display this on our portfolios to start “educating” our clients.
Now I am dealing with one client that say to me “I can get better design at cheap price for India or Romania”, I say “Well, good luck my friend”.
The 90% of our client really don´t know nothing of this business.
Excellent info, I liked it.
happens all the time
Ah. My last client was like that too.
Word of the day is definitely “fonty” haha.
Hahah, one of these days I’m going to be bold and tell a client, “No, it’s my way or the highway!”
“Yeah Bob, I think I love it… but let me take it home tonight and get my wife’s take on it. I’m gonna let the kids have a look too. I’ll get back to you in the morning and let you know for sure if I love it.”
I think I just got out of a meeting with that same client…
I had a client who’s ex-mother-in-law actually emailed me wanting me to change the colors of the site. She also had a list of other changes that “had” to be made.
LOL @ ‘too fonty’. I actually had a client that requested ‘more images’ and ‘less imagery’ in the same email. Can anyone explain that one?
No, seriously.
