I don’t think I’ve ever expressed how much I love this comic strip. NC Winters, you bring some much needed humor to the trade, keep up the great work.

According to the picture, I’m still in the Middle Ages
Almost always I start my design work with pencil mockups. I belive that computer restricts creativity in the initial phase of the work.

I use a very nice text editor (TextMate) along with a couple other very nice, although old (Emacs, Vim) ones, but there was a time when I learned HTML and CSS in Notepad and SimpleText.

Thanks for the kind words, Damien. Nemesis- yes, intentional. I was planning on doing a whole couple weeks’ theme of “remember, back in the day?” technology evolution for many different industries.

Hey N.C.,
I really enjoy your comics, and I really really enjoy the style you create these in! The lack of gradients is a refreshing departure from the norm… and your use of halftone in the background is excellent
Keep up the good work, and keep up the humor! Like Damien said, you bring a bit of humor to an oft nerve-wracking trade(s)

Hehe, mine is a bit backward then. I was thinking about the all-improved voice recognition extension, hehehe.
