I love the “security of a regular job” line. I know far too many people who have been laid off or fired.
I, personally, never intent to lay off me.
Beautiful flyer, NC.

Being an entrepreneur does have its risks and one does have to sacrifice things.
But we freelancers do it for the love of it!

Hm…agree with prior criticism. I mean, financial insecurity bends two ways: You could fall short of your budget, or do far better than expected. A confident freelancer, especially with skills that are in demand, knows that he can round up some dollars (euros, yen, etc.) when needed even if it means working for $5 below your preferred hourly. And having a lording boss isn’t exactly pleasant either, although I haven’t had a particularly nasty situation like that when employed.

I prefer the term freelancer, or free spirit. Though you have to take on the roles of all the different departments in a normal business you still get control ultimately over what you do, and, your success or failure.
