Totally agree with K2 and Jacob Lichner….’Artform’?….Maybe more like Crapform. Do people actually go to you for making designs? And for $150/hour. Are those people blind or has loose screws? The before and after images were quite amusing, a 8 year old can do that. You call yourself an ‘artist’ or a con artist? More like the latter. But, I too will get silent in thought, when I see your ‘portfolio’ (more like a 8 year old’s scrapbook, or in this case Crapbook), i will think to myself, if these are the kinds of designs people want, i’d rather blow my brains out.

Hey, ‘Artform’, check out my portfolio, you might learn something.

Sounds like Winters has reached freelancer maturity. Now for the over the hill part where we get things done in our sleep instead of missing sleep and it’s all downhill from there.

Thats true… When you work on your own there’s no time for anything. You work late at night, eating on the computer and trying to live a normal life…

Clients aren’t bosses. This conception of the client/freelancer relationship is really misguided. Sure, clients pay our bills, but we choose our rates, choose our clients, and choose the nature of each client/freelancer relationship that we have. That in and of itself is enough to demonstrate a very clear difference between a boss and a client.

Yeah, setting your own price that’s double what a company would pay you and getting paid when you work more than 40 hours a week really suck….
