N.C. Winters is always drawing. When he isn't making comics, doodling or working as a freelance graphic artist, he spends his time painting pretty pictures for galleries from his home studio in sunny southern California.

    Ahahah. I know the feeling.
In my case, inspiration comes to me when I’m almost waking up.

  2. PG Chris Lane

Perfect. Mine seems to come at the time I’m just falling asleep.

Yeah this happens ALL the time, if anyone has any tips to channel this creative energy in other ways, please post them!

  3. PG Mario Awad

Me too. That’s why I always keep a notebook and pen close to bed :)

It’s so true. My best business ideas always come in the shower! I got a waterproof notebook ( http://amzn.to/mLrywR ) and a waterproof pen ( http://amzn.to/ifbtRo ) on Amazon. I keep them in the shower at all times!

Lmao this is sooooooooo true! I always get out of the shower with a secondary dry clothe to dry my hands off, in order to write down my ideas without getting my paper wet. LOL this is crazy. I thought I was the only one doing this!

    LOLOLOL!

  6. PG Connor Crosby

So true! I usually get my ideas when I’m about to fall asleep, like Chris.

hehehehehe….I love those histories… this one is so true, everytime I get ideas in some situations that is like soooo unexpected

hahah indeed..can’t even remember how many times inspiration came in the shower while i was really stuck..

  9. PG Roland

Good ideas come when you’re relaxed, like stated: on the toilet, in the shower, before or after sleep. I’ve gotten my ideas while walking on late nights staring at the sky.
    Keep getting ‘em.
    BTW I’m Estonian :D

I honestly believe it has something to do with scratching at the hair follicles, stimulating your brain a little bit, is when ideas come. You’re cleansing and removing all stress of the mind, and at that point your best ideas come to the surface!
