  8. PG Dustin Brewer

    Awesome

  9. I laughed really hard at this because it’s just like a conversation I had with my mother a while back :)

  10. PG Benny

Yeah freelance rocks! Funny comic! xD

  11. PG LaRita M. Heet

I LOVE this – and yes, it is SO very true! Excellent comic, N.C.!

I’ve found myself in that situation several times!

I totally relate. One might say: http://icanhascheezburger.files.wordpress.com/2007/01/2000455272489756911_rs.jpg

  13. Actually, I find fulltime freelance does have some drawbacks. Chances are the guy on the left doesn’t have health insurance, and he seems to always have weeks where he’s not working. Ok, maybe I’m a little bitter.

  14. PG Jermayn Parker

Freelance is not always bear and skittles though, it does have its downfalls…
I am currently chasing two clients for money :(

  15. PG no.e

This exact situation has occurred multiple times with me (on the left in this comic). I love freelance :)

  16. PG Ali

When will this day come?!!! :)

PS: Thanks for this awesome blog! seriously!
You guys always write about what to do when you are a freelancer, but almost never of *how* to start being one! Well yeah I have read the great ‘10 reasons why you should be one’, the truth is it only got me to drool more :)
Can you have just a little more of those how tos

  17. PG Julia Temlyn

It’s so true! However, I usually get the commentary about how people think I sit and eat bon bons and watch soaps all day. They’re starting to take it seriously, though. Love these comics!

  18. PG Josh Garner

Sigh…. I still work both a 9 – 5 and freelance. Soon to break that barrier though…I can taste it. And it tastes like freedom.

  19. PG no.e

(it also tastes a little like bon bons)

  20. PG d3vid

Eheh really funny and totally true! :)

  21. PG austers

Good comic :D Made me laugh

  22. PG Twhite

Its true if you can pull yourself away. I am finding I put in practically twice as many hours as I did for a company. The only upside is I am getting paid for all those hours.

  23. PG Amir

    I need to find my A-ha moment :D :D

  24. PG kamera

Just found this site and the comics and blog posts are really awesome.

  25. PG Fabio Figueiredo
