N.C. Winters is always drawing. When he isn't making comics, doodling or working as a freelance graphic artist, he spends his time painting pretty pictures for galleries from his home studio in sunny southern California.
lol…Ohhh yes, how true it is. Prior to going freelance, I worked at a book publishing company and I don’t know how many times I heard that repeated into the phones to the authors, and then repeated again…..and again.
Sometimes all the communication skills in the world are not enough.
When this happens to me I solve the argument with a «Mister, I’m the pro you hired: You have to trust me on this one.»
Haha this made laugh out loud quite hard! Had to explain stuff like this so many times!!! Just like people who don’t get the idea that saving a JPEG to EPS in Photoshop doesn’t make it a vector… hahaha!
One of the reasons I work mostly on web projects, ja!

One of the many reasons why I am glad to be a web developer…
Laughing. I can’t believe how many times I have had to do this.
Sometimes you just dont realise other people are doing it too!

Not much more to say on this other than: “AMEN!”
Spot on, my friend!!!
… until they want that single page insert, but want it stapled in with the rest of the magazine.
Haha nice one.
This dude is looking more and more stressed out. You should prolly send him on a vacation or something.. lol
So true…sometimes you have to send them a physical mock-up so they get it…. super frustrating….
Almost all my projects tend to be editorial so, yeah I understand his pain. LOL
Haha – I love this one! If you’ve worked in publishing, then you’ve probably gone through the same scenario countless times. Keep ‘em comin’!
