At least Freelance Guy has the decency to say that it can’t be done in a few hours. I’m noticing more and more people saying “Yes,” to those “Can you still do it in X amount of time?,” questions out of some fear of pissing off the client. I don’t understand what is so bad about telling a client that since they are asking for more, it will take more time.
Although, I suppose, worse yet are the people who say “Yes,” when a client asks if they can still do those 12 icons but at the originally quoted price for 3 icons.
I have a client like this at least once a week. The other kind is “Do it for me as a favor because thanks to me you have so many jobs” – means “Do it for free because I have already paid you for previous jobs a year ago”.

Yeah, I’ve had that happen. XD I had to take some time to explain why it would take longer to do more icons too, which is the sad part.
