N.C. Winters is always drawing. When he isn't making comics, doodling or working as a freelance graphic artist, he spends his time painting pretty pictures for galleries from his home studio in sunny southern California.
4 inches tall, 6 inches wide, printed perfectly on a nice thick (almost card stock) semi-gloss bright white paper, bound in hardcover and each page has one beautifully printed freelance freedom comic, with some really fat borders around it. The cover has the words “Freelance Freedom” in a simple somewhat small modern-style san serif font debossed into the cover using a metallic silver…sitting on my glass coffee table for everyone to read and only a select few to understand.
Make it happen and I as well as probably countless others, will purchase it.
Funny, but sometimes that does happen. Last week I’ve heard:
“Wow, that’s how I’ve imagined it!”
and now you come up with this sketch – is it coincidence?
I don’t have an Magic Ball…
Instead, I have a big orange cat! I spray him with flea repellent: the faster he runs away, the more the client will like to my work. [JOKE]
Sure, sometimes is hard to predict a client’s reaction. It’s also very hard to get “love at first sight”. The worst are those that think they could do the job better and just throw some “hints” on what I could do to improve the work.
- “I would do it myself off course but I just don’t have the time.”
Hehe funny:D

Spring time for Freelancers….!
hi
thankx mate, thnx for sharing the info.
Never thought of using an 8 ball. Makes it a lot easier than a complicated algorithm generated by random dice rolls.
