N.C. Winters is always drawing. When he isn't making comics, doodling or working as a freelance graphic artist, he spends his time painting pretty pictures for galleries from his home studio in sunny southern California.
This reminds me of a conversation I got into some time ago with some friends. Basically I was complaining a bit about the difficulties of freelancing. Like being alone all day, etc…
But when they started summing the negative aspects of working for a boss, I became real happy real fast again with my given situation!
Holy Mother of God, it really sucks to be an employee…
I sure miss the times when I worked only as a freelancer. Then, my knowledge was appreciated and no one took credit for my work.
As a print publications designer, I have done both freelance and full time. I thank my lucky stars every day for my life as a freelancer: no office politics, no commute, I can work out of my home and choose my own hours, and with multiple streams of income I have no worries about losing my only job to a layoff.
Really nice, keep up the great work… also first

Thanks for the great cartoon. I always love and relate to your humor, even though I am not a freelancer,… yet.
