N.C. Winters is always drawing. When he isn't making comics, doodling or working as a freelance graphic artist, he spends his time painting pretty pictures for galleries from his home studio in sunny southern California.
Love those clients who make the most weird requests. Just show them the result of their ideas in front of others and they will never suggest anything again.
I became a father exactly one month ago! This is totally me. I tweeted the fact that I would rather be snuggling with my baby right now. Quite the serendipitous comic for me!
Yeah, dealing with weird client wants at the moment as well. It’s a music publishing business…and he wants a howitzer in the logo. I rather be cuddling my cute little nephew who was born only a few months ago.
hahaha! gotta love those bizarre requests!
Lol, it’s funny because it’s true..
A true classic! I switched to freelancing full time 3 weeks after the birth of our first, just a few distractions during those first few projects…
Working at home and doing the daddy-daycare thing is certainly tough. I’m still trying to work it out.
So far, my favourite bizarre client request is: “More earth-tones, but less brown”.
Haha! Very nice!
Yeah, a client once told me that “this green is a bit too green.. and this blue.. hmm.. i think it’s a bit too blue.. if you know what i mean”

It must suck to be colorblind : (
I’m going through some endless bizarre client changes at the moment myself , can’t wait for this project to wrap up haha
how true-ly.. bizarre!
I would really love it if you could make this comic just a little more red.
Nice
Gotta love twitter for being able to rant about these clients instantly.

Yup, I’ve just learned to go with the flow… if the client has too much influence over what they want, they just get knocked off my portfolio!

This is not so funny when you are colorblind and can’t tell what color the background is! IS IT?
