    Definitely… the past year I must admit, I’ve taken a harsher stance and make sure 50% upfront is the policy and it’s worked out well. Those that pay upfront rarely are slow to pay the final 50%.

    Exactly, the same here. Had issues with clients before, but everything’s been pretty stress free since I started the 50% upfront policy.

    To add to that, working with people who actually trust you and really do have the money to pay for your services tends to be a pleasant experience for both sides :) .
