N.C. Winters is always drawing. When he isn't making comics, doodling or working as a freelance graphic artist, he spends his time painting pretty pictures for galleries from his home studio in sunny southern California.

    I don’t agree with this cartoon at all sorry. I usually find these very funny, but this one is just reinforcing the negative stereotypes of freelancers and where’s the joke in that?

    I work very hard and I am grateful for any clients I have and I have paid a lot of money for legitimate software over the years as I’m sure other professionals reading this have. As for billing there is a tool on this website and other ways to work this out based on your circumstances and the project scope so why say it’s guess work?

    Sorry for this but things are tough as it is with the recession and this is not helping.

      @ Christine: you know, this site is FOR freelancers + similar suspicious types, don’t you?

      If you’re so wretchedly trying to convey a different image – what’s the point of complaining? See it as a bad pun .. and get over it!
