Freelance Web Developer

Budget: $1,000 to $2,500

I am looking for a 2 page commerce site (Preferably written in Umbraco or Joomla or wordpress) with a good Content Management System for our client since they will be adding more products later on. We basically have the design format that was approved by our client in an AI file but if you would like to polish it up as well that would be great!

It would have to be compatible with the Sequel 2008 Server which we already have as well as asp.net ready which we also have. And based on the design elements we have is it possible to have a soft launch (The non-click able site design) by February 11 but doesn’t have to be fully functional by the end of the month. The idea is to have a smooth flowing flashy website that can handle smart phones and tablets while still having animated button movements.

Photoshop
After Effects

Skills required:
Vizualization
Rhythm
Speed
Patience
Innovation

Foremost, I need someone who knows After Effects inside and out, can do anything AE is capable of (like write your own expressions), and is fast.

A step up from that would be someone who can take initiative, following direction to find templates or stock images and video to incorporate in (and add to) the creative treatment.

Web design for Django-powered site. Integration needed.

Budget: $1,000 to $2,500

Over the past two years, a Django programmer and I have built a pretty great Web site that I think has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, neither of us have design skills to speak of.

The programmer has pulled back from the project due to health issues, and I’m left with a great idea, a butt-ugly site, and neither the skill to design a better version, or to implement that design in a Django environment. So I’m looking for 80% designer, 20% Django-savvy person.

I’ve got a great handle on what’s needed, and a very detailed set of needs and parameters. Clarity won’t be an issue. It will take a 10-minute Skype session to tour the site and show the designer what’s needed, however. Many of the site elements that need work can only be seen/experienced through use.
