  4. Everytime I come to you site, I’m more and more impressed. Great job and will check back OFTEN.

  5. Yeah, you’re right J Phill- these guys really are moving fast :p - takes other sites months and months to get anything done; this on the other hand is days and weeks. Great Job; keep up the awesome work :)

  6. Nice addition to the website. I like the colors of that page as well. :) Keep up the great work. We love this site.

  7. Great work guys.

I’d love one feed for all of the jobs.

But I can live with separate ones I suppose :)

  8. Thanks guys, we’re doing our best! Actually we launched the site before it was finished and are now hurrying to finish it, but I’m glad its coming across the other way around hehe.

@Wayde, I think I have a universal feed somewhere… ah yep here we go! It is:

    http://feeds.feedburner.com/FSAllJobs

I’ll put it up on the job board at some point soon for everyone, but there it is for anyone who reads these comments :-)

  9. HI,

This website is a great looking 1. It’s simple, conveniently and designed well! Is there also the possibility for students, to do (practical) work oversea? Just wondering.

    Good luck with your site!

  10. @Collis - thanks for the heads up ;)

    3 job emails sent already!

  11. Great resource guys! I’m from the Netherlands and every day I read the articles you guys post!

  12. Hello,

I just found Freelance Switch today and have been poking around the site. I’m very glad to have found this place: it looks great and has good content.

My question: I have been tossing around the idea of going out on my own again (I used to be a web freelancer long ago), but my area of expertise nowadays is Interactive Project Management. I’ve visited a number of job boards for freelancers, and most have positions for developers and designers. Do you know any good resources for gaining a PM consulting gig (or three)?

    Thanks!
    Pamela

  13. Hey Pamela! Interesting question, I must admit I have not seen anyone advertise that sort of position either, I know locally (here in Sydney) I have heard occasionally of freelance positions for digital producers and project managers, but it was always on the grapevine. I suppose that sort of role is more likely to be a fulltime position than a freelance one for most agencies. You could try simply knocking on doors, otherwise you would probably have better luck going straight to clients and marketing yourself as a whole solution provider then outsourcing the work and managing it. Hmm, not sure if that helps :-)

  14. Hi Cyan,

Anything helps, thank you! You are right most of the positions I’ve seen are full time for PM’s. I was hoping to strike out on my own and do it as a consultant. Knocking on doors does indeed sound like the way to go! I am using a lot of the tips you post on the blog here to help gain visibility and in the meantime and crafting my web site.

    Thanks!

  15. So I was off work and surfing and found this place and thought I would join up. I don’t have much more to say right now except I need to start reading some of the older posts to get up to speed before I can start posting.

    Em

  16. I just came across http://www.jobbi.com and they offer one free job post to EVERY user right now. the site offers the most that i have ever actually seen.
I tried out the HeadHunt feature and i’ve already racked up $12. Im pretty stoked right now about this.

  17. To get high rankings in Yahoo and MSN is all about links? I can get ranked easier in Google with links,
but the other two I have no clue.
