Authors
The articles on FreelanceSwitch are written by freelancers just like you! Over the years we’ve had a TON of contributors help out on the site, sometimes with one-off articles, sometimes with many. Below you’ll find a list of all our authors as well as details of our heroic site editor Joel!
Joel Falconer, the Site Editor!
Joel Falconer is a writer, editor, journalist and musician living in Melbourne, Australia. Along with editing and managing FreelanceSwitch, Joel runs WorkAwesome and the Netsetter. He’s written for Mashable, Lifehack, Audiotuts+, AudioJungle, Put Things Off, the Sydney Morning Herald and many more. Having managed Audiotuts+ and AudioJungle in the past, he’s been around the Envato block!

Amanda Hackwith, the Community Manager!
Amanda manages the forums, making them an excellent place to discuss freelancing. She also moderates the job board and blog comments while Joel is sleeping. Amanda is the site manager at GraphicRiver and an excellent designer in her own right, having worked with the likes of Time-Warner and Mayo Clinic.
John Brougher, Freelance Radio Host!
John Brougher has been hosting Freelance Radio ever since the first episode. John specializes in voiceover and podcasting services and is an accomplished speaker.
N.C. Winters, the Cartoonist!
N.C. has been running Freelance Freedom for a long time now, and you can read hundreds of his comics in the archives. In addition, N.C. is the author of WorkAwesome’s Memo:Random and many other Envato comic strips. N.C. is also an accomplished artist with paintings regularly shown throughout the U.S., but we love him most for his excellent humor!
